Well, it looks as though it's time to go roommate shopping again. And unless i want my rent to rise by 30%, we may have to find one... Quick. Rent's due Saturday, you say? Oh shit, too late. If anyone knows any cute, female orphans between the ages of 25 and 33, that love to do housework, you know which direction to point them. ;)
** Wedding **
As i mentioned before, Bouby is getting married and moving out. He's planning his wedding for September. And as it so happens, i get to be in the wedding. Yeay. I also need to find a date to said wedding. So you if you know any cute, female orphans between the ages of... ha ha. No seriously, i'll pick her up from the bus station. ;)
How does that work? While you're up there on the steps trying to talk your buddy out of support your buddy on the greatest day of his life, what is your date doing? Does she sit there by herself in the pews, wondering what's for dinner? looking around for cute guys? staring up at you wishing she was in the off-white dress? How does that work. Seems like kinda a crappy deal to me.
"Where's your date?"
"Up there."
"Oh, that sucks."
"Thank you."
** Reception **
And what about the reception. Is this really the place you want your date to meet the real you? Dressed in rented clothing performing acts that would get you arrested in 48 states? (The last wedding i went to i ended up naked in the back of a Toyota Forerunner, soaking wet from a midnight dip in the ocean.
"Is that my pizza? What happened to my pants? Hey gimmie back my pizza! Ooh, a surfboard...."
"Rik!!!!"
Don't ask.
Ok, i'm off to go girl hunting. Wish me luck.

February 20th? Seriously? Has it really been that long since i updated this blog?? Wow. Maybe i should wait until Monday and make a real slacker of myself. Rest assured i've been reading yours even if you've not been reading mine.
** Work **
I'm really starting to hate my job. Our programmers here suck. Everytime one programmer fixes his code, he copies his new code and the other guys' bad code back into the program, or the error messages they create are in broken English. They are making my life hell.
It's not all their fault though. The managers are forcing so many new projects on them they have no time to upkeep the current applications. It's like building a skyscraper, but instead of making sure the ground floors are working correctly, they've moved all the workers to the top floor to build the next one. I just hope i'm on my smoke break (outside) when it all comes down.
** Happy St. Patrick's Day **
Be careful out there, kids. I want to read you on Monday. With that in mind, remember this: You're parents DO have a favorite child; but they still love you just enough to lie. ;)
